Automated Glow Plug for the EZ-Start System

Here is how i have "automated" the Ez-Start so that it send power to the Glow Plug as soon as you connect the Ez-start to the car. That way, when you press the Red Button the glow plug is already ignited and it make it more easier to start the engine. It is like using a Glow Plug igniter and the Ez-Start all together.

I hope it will help others who want to make it. 

 

 

 

1. Remove the main screw.
2. remove the 2 small screw on the back side of the Ez Start
3. Unsolder the two connector (to be able to remove the circuit from the box)
4. Unsolder the blue wire
5. Cut all the wire at 1 inch  (except the blue one) and prepare the other wire to be solder again
6. Cut a little nutch where the blue wire was. The blue wire must pass throught it when you will close the starter box
.
7. Unsolder the remaining of the other wire and re solder the new prepared wire at the same place they were before. Except the blue one  (this was to shorten the red,yellow and black wire)
8.Re Solder the two connectors at their place
9. Solder the blue wire to the connector as shown above.
10. Put back the screw at the back side of the ez start
11. Put back the main screw.
