John George Basteane AGER was born in Devon, Plymouth, England around 1807.

John was a clerk accountant.

All we know about his parents is his father’s name : William AGER (according to the marriage certificate).

He died on May 2^nd 1874. At the time of his decease, the family was living at 5 Little Thames Street, Greenwich, London, England.

During his life, John got married twice.

The first time, married Naomi FRANCIS (daughter of William FRANCIS) on September 11^th 1842 at All Souls, St Marylebone, London, England. For the moment, I have not yet found John AGER in the 1851 British Census. However, I know that Naomi was probably dead at that time because John had a child born on July 10^th 1850 at Kent.

John George Basteane AGER and Rosina BLISS waited a little time before getting married in May 8^th 1854 at All Souls, St Marylebone, London, England.

John & Rosina had at least six children :

- John George AGER, born on July 10^th 1850;

- Rosina AGER, born around 1855;

- William AGER, born around 1857;

- Henry Gordon AGER, born around 1859;

- Mary Ann AGER, born November 10^th 1860 at Greenwich;

- Amelia Elizabeth AGER, born February 12^th 1864 at Greenwich.

John George B. AGER appeared in the 1861 and 1871 British Census with his family.

John George Basteane AGER died on May 2^nd 1874 at Greenwich West, London, England. I do not know where is his burial.
