George WHIPPS was baptized on November 2^nd 1797 at Birdbrook, Essex,England.

George is the son of George WHIPPS SR and Jane FITCH.

George is a farm laborer.

George will marry Mary COLLIN on October 13^th 1819 at Birdbrook, Essex, England.

Here is the text of the act of marriage :

"George Wips bachelor of this parish and Mary Collin spinster of this parish were married in this church by banns with consent of parents this thirteenth day of october in the Year One thousand eight hundred and nineteen by me J. Walton Rector.

This marriage was solemnized between us :

George Wips his x mark

Mary Collin her x mark

in the presence of

Rupert Skinner

George Clark"

They had at least five children :

- Sophia, baptized on February 13^th 1821 at Birdbrook;

- Sarah, baptized on February 18^th 1824 at Birdbrook;

- Ann, baptized on April 29th 1827 at Birdbrook;

- Matilda, baptized on June 28th 1829 at Birdbrook;

- Sophia, baptized on March 28th 1833 at Birdbrook.

I don’t know yet the date and place of death of George nor Mary COLLIN.
