Biography of Matilda WHIPPS

Matilda WHIPPS was baptized on June 28^th 1829 at Birdbrook, Essex, England.

She was the daughter of George WHIPPS and Mary COLLIN.

Matilda appears in the two following British Census : 1851 and 1861.

She was a straw braider.

Matilda WHIPPS married Joseph/Josiah COCKS on July 1^st 1850 at Independent Chapel of Steeple Bumpstead, Essex, England.

Matilda died at 39 years old of phtisis on June 20^th 1867 at Steeple Bumpstead, Essex and was buried on June 24^th 1867 at the cemetery of this place.
