Information Founding/Creating Species:
Tirolians their mindset is radically different than human. (they are effectively immortal);
physically they look humanoid, a bit smaller than normal humans. They're born in triplets,
mind-linked masters of bio-robotics.

You never see the tirolians themselves, all encounters are with their bio-robotic army,
the Zentron(male soldiers...Meltron=female)

Tirolians are no more than 4-5 feet tall where as the Zentrons are giants but they can be shrunk
to human size via specialized machinery.

Tirolians figured the best tactic to keep the natives away is to give nearby species, like Romulans,
something to be very scared of (50" tall blue-skinned giants would do that).

As for computer stuff, the station would have a lot.. but bio-computer.
It's obviously machinery, but it works like organics.

Tirolians themselves don't use weapons, but weapons if found would be particle cannons used by their
enforcer robots. They have a high-degree of mental control, even some psionics.
They can control their control through musical tones. The right tones you can make a zentron attack or stand down.
The Tirolians never do anything but sit and observe if they can help it. Their weapon systems are
particle-cannon based, omega-technology. Omega particles are dangerous things, using them without
understanding them is suicide. The Tirolians is one of the rare species that can, due to their
bio-mechanical ships, handle omega particules safely.

Note: A common thing the tirolians do is embed one of their robots into the station.
One example a woman named Laplanis was perminantly standing in the middle of the control room,
her lower-torso being nothing but an extention into the floor.

See the Station design attached. Yes I know it looks like an overgrown plant..
but we wanted something vastly different from SF remember? Well this is it.

   Schematics:
  • 1400 km across
  • 1 Main Converging Beam Cannon.
(the perfect thing to destroy borg cube, creates a path of destruction 1 km wide and 100,000 km long)
  • 200 particle cannon
  • 4,400 retractable particle turrets
  • 3000 missile turrets (anti-fighter defence)

I think we will find that the cannon does not work at first...I don't want to obliterate them at first :)
but at least it makes my premise that the station has a secret that could help us in the end true...
even if we don't get it functioning :).

The other secret being that we may also find that this station has a robot embedded.
It would explain why the Pruiians are so very secretive and protective of the systems.
Remember they don't really let us near the primary systems. The premise now prooves to be
because they'd hate for us in our efforts to help them bungle something and blow up a piece of
the DQ in the process you know. Also with the Pruiians being purely psioninc it would work very
well with the Tirolians choosing them to be the caretakes of the station when they thought they
had gained all from it they could. This station and it's systems are a few thousand years old.
Regardless of what we find, we can't assume it just works. After that long we'll be lucky if
we can get it to work any time soon..and probably not soon enough for it to be helpful.

The Tirolians get their power ...from the matrix. The matrix is that thing in the background.
It is also their achilles heel. Basically kill the plant..kill the Tirolians. Essentially it's
a strange plant, unknown outside of the Tirolians. It changes what consums it. In their case,
immortality so long as they consume the plant, along with many vestigial components gone
(no stomach is needed anymore, for instance, no fingernails, etc...) The station also has these ...
matrix plants throuought (handful). However, the same holds true. Do enough damage to the plants.. the station suffers.

Shield technology: Shield technology the Tirolians are not ahead on;
They still use surface-effect shields, like in TOS/TMP-era ST As we learn the secrets of the base..
as we discover and learn how to use this base we call home when we are not on the ship...
the base can grow and adapt with us..so we can enhance the shields etc...and what have you as we go
along. This will allow us some concrete information on which to build with the station.

They are ancient civilization and fierce in their own right but now without their flaws.
We don't truly know why they left the station to the Pruiians ...only that they did.

Ships can easily dock at the station...with it's size, it's a formidable site...but....
now we also have a reason as to why the Borg want this station.....
