Notes:
- In 1628, Quebec fall to the hands of the Kirke brothers.
Many historians thinks that it was a Huguenots revenge
after the fall of La Rochelle. The Kirke were French
Huguenots from Normandy that had fled to England. They
were guided in the St-Lawrence river by another Huguenot,
Jacques Michel. During the occupation of Quebec, a
daughter of Guillaume Couillard will be christened by the
Lutheran minister. When the French came back in 1632, she
will be christened again by a Catholic Priest.
