Cypress Cove, Kisseemee, Florida 1991
For our first trip we went to the naturist club "Cypress Cove". Superb site with all conveniences, excellent
restaurant, pool, spa, lake with beach pedal-boat and alligators. A real small naturist
town. We got a nice clean room with small fridge. It is located close to Walt Disney,
Universal Studio, MGM Studio, Sea World. We rented a small car to visit all this. We where
there in beginning of march and the temperature was not warm enough every day to bathe and
sunbathe. We profited of those less clement days to visit.
Hotel Mont-Vernon, Baie Orient, St-Martin, Antilles Francaises 1992

Hotel Mont-Vernon is located in the Bay Orient where some people (like us) are naturist, others topless,
others wear g-string and others wears the traditional bathing suit. The beach is one of
the most beautiful one in the world with its white sand and water is very clear there.
Meals are excellent but very expensive, our hotel included only breakfast. Many people
cook some of their own meals, our hotel did not include a kitchenette, only a small
refrigerator. You can be served in english on this island. It would be a dream place if it
wasn't so expensive.
Villa Del Sol, Varadero, Cuba 1993

Being administrated and located just beside the International Hotel, you can have your
own private villa with bathroom, shower, refrigerator and a living room. Or you can have a
shared villa where you have your private locked bedroom with bathroom and shower, you
share only the living room and refrigerator. We had two meal included, buffet style, taken
at the Hotel International. This complex is located on the superb long beach of Varadero,
but unfortunately too touristic for our taste. Almost no Cuban lives at Varadero, there
are only tourist hotels and other attractions. Many activities are available like visit of
the Indian village of Guama, the caves of Bellamar, Havana, fishing, diving, cabaret and
shows.
Hotel Pelicano, Cayo Largo, Cuba 1994

Pelicano had just been built and we were in a room with sea sight. Two delicious meals
were included. The main attraction is its beach. One of the most beautiful one in the
world, kilometers of crystalline water and white sand to enjoy. But the activities are
limited to the beach and the sea, nothing to visit. This beach is a paradise, several
kilometers of deserted sandy beach, the hotels are located side by side, leaving the rest
of the island deserted. In all freedom, on the beach there are topless, g-string and
naturists and that has been the case for several years without problems. It is a good
place to try naturism since there is several kilometers of deserted beaches, and for those
which are accustomed to it there is some naturists everywhere on the beach even in front
of the hotels.
Hotel Club Guardalavaca, Guardalavaca, Cuba 1995

Three meals and drinks where included, we had a beautiful clean room, the meals where
good and abundant. The beach is beautiful and large with a shaded area. There is nice
diving and scuba diving to be done there. Some excursion are available. There is a little
solicitation on the beach but without being harassed.
Hostal de la Playa, Cabarette, Republic Dominican 1996

This hotel is either closed or under a new administration. The beach of Cabarette is
very large and of brown sand and would gain to be better cleaned. Water was not clear
enough to scuba dive. Only at Samana which is much further east I could do some diving and
have some clear water. On the other hand, Cabarette is a paradise for windsurfing. There
are many salesman on the beach and you quickly learn to say " No gracias ". Very
few topless and g-string while we were there. Good choice of restaurants. Do not forget
your insect repellent.
Hotel Playa Giron, Playa Giron, Cuba 1997

Located on the south coast with no other hotel in the area you have a very good
contact with the Cubans there. Composed of villas of one bedroom and villas of two
bedrooms both with a living room with television and bathroom with shower. Large splendid
swimming pool very well maintained with large terrace and bar. Three meal and drinks where
included, the food was one of best there than we ever had. Some excursion are available.
Few minutes from the hotel, at Caletta Buena, there is a very beautiful site to dive and
scuba dive, a bus service for it is available from the hotel. The only negative point is
the beach of the hotel which is not pleasant because of too many rocks, you must pay
attention where you walk. During our stay, there was the best animation team we ever had.
Hotel Ancon, Trinidad, Cuba 1998

This trip in an all-inclusive formula included three meals of buffet style, local
drinks and nautical sports like kayak pedal-boat sail-board and catamaran. This large six
story hotel with elevator is located on one of the finest beach of the south shore of
Cuba. With a kid pool and a nice large pool with bar. This white sand beach of kilometers
long is used almost only by tourists. At about fifteen kilometers there is Trinidad which
you can go to easily by bicycle or moped available at the hotel. From the hotel there is
some excursions available and also a very good diving center that can take you to about
thirty different dive spots.
Caribbean Cruise on the Flamenco, 1999

Our first cruise. On the Flamenco formally the "Sun Princess" the first
"Love Boat" of the famous TV series. Leaving from Santo Domingo in Republic
Dominican we visited Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, Antigua, La Dominique,
Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Puerto Rico.
Club Tropical, Varadero, Cuba 2000
For
this second trip to Varadero we choosed the Club Tropical where we got a two bedroom
apartment, each with it's own bathroom and shower, living room and balcony and direct view
on the beach. This hotel simple clean and comfortable is very economical and located
on a very nice beach. Be careful not to have room too close to the show stage otherwise
you will not be able to sleep before the show end, generally around 23:00hrs.
Vita Club Caracol, Santa Lucia, Cuba 2001

This hotel is an all inclusive. Meals are verry good. The rooms are nice
and verry clean. Santa Lucia is a touristic beach with 5 hotels, a small cuban
village and nothing else around. Verry nice beach with nice sand, water is verry
clear to do nice snorkling. Unfortunatelly there is small coral rock in the water
which lots of people dont like to walk on.
Iberostar Daiquiri, Cayo-Guillermo, Cuba 2002

For our first trip to the Cayo-Guillermo / Cayo-Coco region we choosed the Iberostar,
which turned out to be a verry good choice. Verry nice and clean room with private balcony
with a nice view in the direction of the beach. During our stay we found the food to be
excellent. We also liked the beach, long for nice walk, shallow and clear water. There is
a good team for animation and shows. The pool is verry nice in three sections with one
with a bar.
Hotel Pelicano, Cayo Largo, Cuba 2003

Renovations are almost completed at Pelicano. Food is good. Nice and clean
room. Nice beach of white sand, Clear water for snorkeling. There is naturism on the
beach except in front of the big hotels.
Rancho Luna, Cienfuegos, Cuba 2004

Simple hotel just completely renovated. Very good food. Unfortunately the beach has big grain of sand uncomfortable for walking bare foot. There is algae in water and coral debris. Very good destination if the above don't bother you.
