My mother's maiden name was Mullen, and she is from a large family from New Tusket near Weymouth, Nova Scotia. The first Mullen from her family to arrive in Nova Scotia was Peter Mullen(Mullin), who was born in Poughkeepsie N.Y. in 1748. I have yet to find out exactly where he came from and who his ancestors are. There are a few of us looking for this information.
