Wishing for a perfect day is something every couple about to get
married hopes for. Actually having one is...as they
say....Priceless!!!
Days like the one Baharak and I had on this past July 27th happen once
in a lifetime; if you're very lucky!
We would like to thank everyone who helped from the bottom of our
hearts. Our wedding party was terrific. Michael, Dean and Forough
helped us tremendously. There are a lot of little things that you tend
to worry about on a big day but I tell ya, we needn't have had any
concerns. They handled everything for us. On top of that Margaret,
Jodi, Helen also went way out of their way with all they did. Barney
and Manon also were great support and a big help. Of course the whole
thing couldn't have happened as it did without the help of Mr.
Ghorbani. His big heart and generosity gave us the day we had dreamed
about.
We also would like to extend a special thank you to Mary
Kobelka, my grandmother, for making the trip. Money is nice, gifts are
nice but when a person makes a personal sacrifice such as a difficult
and long trip to be there with you, that's what makes your heart sing.
Joining her in having a long trip is Mom and Pierre, all the way from
Vancouver. It meant so much to us that they could make it and of
course for myself, words are hard to come by to describe all that my
mom has done for me!
So a special day was had by all...thanks also
to the folks who made a long journey..Steve and Tracy, Jodi, Helen,
Paul and Heather, Frank (I think I saw him there)...and well everybody
that made the effort to be with us. Thanks..
I should also mention,
you might not all know, that I had a third best man who was with us in
spirit. Glen and Lee would have liked nothing more than to be with us
but sometimes life's circumstances do throw you a curve
ball....actually Glen used to throw a pretty good curve himself!
So
that's it...a big thank you to everyone! The gifts were very much
appreciated. A very nice gesture coming from Dad and Lise (Mr. Visa
really appreciated the gift!) One last special thanks to the
Ghorbani family for sharing a part of their beautiful family with me.
Thank you!
Bruce
