score at least 75 points out of 100 points from the selection system used by Immigration
Canada. The selection for this category is based on 6 factors and they are:

WHAT IS THE ACCEPTABLE AGE OF THE APPLICANT?
The applicant must be at least 21 years of age
and not be above 49 years old.

The spouse and any unmarried children under the
age of 22 years can be included in your application.

who:

Residents, other than the Applicant and his dependents.
- Intends and has the ability to sustain a business
and to participate in the management of the business.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- To qualify, the applicant should have a total net
worth of approximately C$300,000. and must have a minimum of three years management
experience in a business. An applicant who has been an Owner, Director or General Manager
of a company may qualify. The net worth can be combined with the net

HOW MUCH MONEY MUST I INVEST?
The value of the investment may vary depending
on the business project. It also varies from province to province.
WHAT ARE THE COMMITMENTS OF THE APPLICANT TO BE
FULFILLED BY AN ENTREPRENEUR IMMIGRANT AFTER LANDING IN CANADA?
- The Entrepreneur must create or continue an
employment opportunity for a Canadian citizen or a Permanent Resident other than the
Entrepreneur and his dependents, within 2 years upon landing in Canada.
- The Entrepreneur must satisfy the requirement of
an on-going participation in the management of the business. Depending on the type of
business, the Entrepreneur is required to participate in the management of the
business, and he may have to be in attendance from day to day.

your application for this category. We will prepare the required business plan on your
behalf, we will recommend a project appropriate
to your occupational qualifications, one that requires the least capital from you.
The business plan is to be submitted to the Canadian Government for approval.
An Investor is an immigrant
who:
- Has a net worth of C$800,000. accumulated by the
Investor's own endeavors.
- Has successfully operated, controlled or directed
a business or commercial undertaking.
- Has made the required minimum investment that
will contribute to the creation or continuation of employment opportunities for Canadian
citizens and permanent residents.
WHAT IS THE AMOUNT TO BE INVESTED?
An Investor is supposed to invest C$400,000. for
a duration of 5 years. The Investor has a choice of various Investors' Programmes
including a business or in Government Approved Funds or with some major Canadian
banks. In
certain provinces the Investor can obtain a bank loan against the investment.

athletes, artists and farmers.
