Gendarme: Final results for GHOP tasks

Google Highly Open Participation Contest (GHOP) is over almost over - well enough that all Gendarme related tasks are now closed.
Number of completed tasks:17 +10 from previous interim post
Number of students:4
Number of rules:40 +25 from previous interim post
Other stuff
  • one logo
  • one major re-design proposal for our unit tests: smaller & easier

My congratulations to all students, in particular to the four courageous souls: Daniel A, Andreas N, Steve P & Adrian T, you all impressed me! Also my thanks to Google, I know a younger version of myself would have enjoyed this immensely too :). More information about the rules when everything is committed to SVN!

Gendarme GHOP Surprise!

I must admit that Mono's results from Google Highly Open Participation Contest are very impressive - much more than I had originally expected. Now I really don't mind being wrong when things are better than I expected :-)

I'm even more surprised by Gendarme's results. Seven tasks, by four students, have been completed so far. This adds a total of 15 new rules and a logo to Gendarme :-). Kudos to them!

And it's not over yet. Two other tasks are claimed and another (easy if you want to try out) one is open (available) and I don't lack ideas for creating more tasks ;-).
