SHOCKING REVELATION!!!

Harry Ring's most guarded secret was exposed today in a stunning revelation by one-time roommate Yeti. Indisputable evidence shows that one of our very own goons, Ken Ferguson, was once the fourth member of Canadian rock group Rush. Below is an early-cut CD jacket of the Rush album, Fly By Night - see for yourselves.

You heard it here first folks!

The reluctant rock star spoke to Imagoon about his troubled past:

"Truth is, " says Ring, eating a macrobiotic meal in a downtown restaurant and washing it down with a magnum of Maudit that he smuggled in in a paper bag, "for a short time I was actually the front man and I was taking the band in a totally different musical direction. We were to be called Saunter and the music was dark and mysterious.

"Anyway, the short of it is that our manager at the time was a harlot. Geddy comes from a rich family and could afford tight, leather pants sooner than I could. He seduced her with his well-displayed genitalia and those sweet, innocent good looks. " he says, looking forlornly at his reflection in the window.

"Me, I was shifted to the background, into a latter-day Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks role -- all tambourine, no glory, no chicks -- while Geddy sliced the spine out of America with his high-pitched wail. " Another pause, as a solitary tear rolls down his cheek.

"I soon quit the band demoralized and self-conscious. I formed other bands, looking for a creative outlet. Names like Whitesnake, Cinderella, Great White... the list goes on. But none could capture my magic. Now, like most washed up artists, I'm a corporate whore. But on some cold, rainy nights, I sit alone in my empty apartment and curse Geddy Lee for stealing what might have been."

Harry Ring's only other entertainment credit (that we are aware of) was as stunt-double for the bumbling protagonist of 1980's comedy/drama TV series The Greatest American Hero.
