I already gave you the answer to 1 - 4, even though I originally left out the answer to (3) due to a typo:

(1) Carol Eden (Dec 60) and Simone Eden (Feb 89)
(2) Mary and Madeline Collinson (both Oct 70), Janice (May 71) and Ann (Mar 76) Pennington, and Mirjam and Karin van Breeschooten (both Sep 89)
(3) Elaine Morton (Jun 70) and Karen Morton (Jul 78)
(4) Joan Staley (Nov 58) and Donna Perry (Nov 94), and Allison Parks (Oct 65) and Kelly Burke (Jun 66).

This was a warm-up, since the answers to (2) and (3) and half of (4) were Playmates from the **same** generation. The rest of the quiz is meant to stress the inter-generational history of Playboy. That's why I consider this quiz to be important (even though probably no one else does). Note that in (4), Staley and Perry extend the continuity of Playmate-hood across **three** generations, not just two.

5 - 6: (For 6 points, you must answer both parts.)

(5) What Playmate's grandfather had a letter published in "Dear Playboy" saying how pleased he was with his granddaughter's pictorial?

HINT: "Dear Playboy" published a photo of the grandfather. Maybe (6) has more than one answer, but the instance I recall was from the early 1960s.

7 - 9: (For 9 points, you must give all 3 answers.)

Identify 3 instances in which mothers and their daughters have posed nude in the same issue of a Newsstand Special.

HINT: One of these was in a volume in the "Playboy's Nudes" series, but the other two NSSs were one-time specials (at least so far). Even if you don't buy the NSSs, you know the answer to one of these from a pictorial in the magazine, too.

10 - 12: (For 9 points, you must give all 3 answers.)

What 3 Playmates were the mothers of daughters who were featured in Playboy's "Sex Stars" pictorials?

HINT: In addition to being featured as "Sex Stars", one of the daughters also answered "20 Questions", and another one of the daughters was featured in a solo pictorial. [For 3 bonus points - what Playmate is the mother of a **son** who was featured in two "Sex Stars" pictorials?]

13 - 15: (For 9 points, you must give all 3 answers.)

Identify 3 Playboy pictorials in which at least one of the photographers shooting it was the father of a model appearing in it.

HINT: One of these pictorials was the PMOM feature, and another one was a fairly recent one in which the model wasn't identified (except afterwards, in "Dear Playboy"). I'll have to go back and check that one myself, since I shouldn't trust my memory on that!

16 - 17: (For 6 points, you must answer both parts.)

(16) What man, who has appeared in more than a dozen Playboy pictorials, is the father of one actress who was the subject of a Playboy pictorial and of another actress who was featured in 6 of Playboy's "Sex Stars" pictorials?
(17) Identify 3 Playboy pictorial/articles, all in the same year, featuring the mother of the latter actress.

HINT: We've mentioned on the List, earlier this year, that this man was featured in so many articles/pictorials. The actress who was featured in 6 of the "Sex Stars" pictorials is (as you might expect) quite well known. The man and the two actresses in (16) all have the same last name, if that helps get you thinking along the right track.

18 - 21: (For 12 points, you must answer all 4 parts.)

(18) What Playmate/Bunny is the daughter of a Bunny?
(19) What Playmate/Bunny is the mother of a Bunny?
(20) What Playmate/Bunny is the mother of model who worked for Playboy Models (a division of PEI)?
(21) What Bunny who appeared in 2 Playboy pictorials is the daughter of a man who worked for Playboy?

HINT: The really hard one here is (20). To make this easier, I'll give you all 12 points if you answer only the other three parts.

22 - 24: (For 9 points, you must answer all 3 parts.)

(22) What actress who was the subject of a Playboy pictorial is not the daughter of a Playmate but nevertheless is the daughter of a man who was the husband of a Playmate?
(23) What actress who was the subject of a Playboy pictorial is the daughter of an actress who was featured in 10 Playboy pictorials?
(24) What actress who was the subject of a Playboy pictorial is the daughter of an actor who was featured in more than a dozen Playboy pictorials?

HINT: The actress in (22) was in fact featured in Playboy twice, first in 1979 and then in 1988. (23) and (24) actually have multiple answers. To make it more specific, the actress who was featured in 10 pictorials was **not** a Playmate, and the actor who was featured in more than a dozen pictorials is **not** the same one mentioned in question (16). However, if you can answer either (23) **or** (24) subject to those constraints, then you've found the answer to the other one, too!!!

25 - 27: (For 9 points, you must answer all 3 parts.)

(25) and (26) Identify 2 instances in which the subject of a Playboy interview is the father of a woman who was the subject of a Playboy pictorial.
(27) What subject of a "Oui" interview (back when Playboy owned "Oui") is the father of a woman who was the subject of a Playboy pictorial?

HINT: You should be able to answer (25) and (26) just by reviewing the list of Playboy Interviews. As for (27), the interview subject was a sports team owner, and his daughter's pictorial followed a sports theme, too.

28 - 29: (For 6 points, you must answer both parts.)

(28) What model in one of Playboy's "College Girls" pictorials said her mother had posed for Playboy?
(29) What model in Playboy's "Girls of Hooters" pictorial is the daughter of a Penthouse Pet?

HINT: We've already discussed (28) on the List recently, but (29) is one of those "black belt" questions that maybe not even everyone at PEI can answer. So dig out your copies of Penthouse from 1982, dig out your copy of the "Girls of Hooters" pictorial from April 1994, and engage in some careful comparison of the photos!

30 - 31: (For 6 points, you must answer both parts.)

(30) What actress was featured in Playboy's "Sex in Cinema" pictorial in the year before her (then) daughter-in-law became a Playmate?
(31) What actress was featured in Playboy's "Sex in Cinema" pictorial 3 years before her (now) daughter-in-law became a Playmate?

HINT: The daughter-in-law in (30) was a Playmate in 1979, and the daughter-in-law in (31) was a Playmate in 1971.

32 - 33: (For 6 points, you must answer both parts.)

(32) What Playmate starred in a 1980 movie about a robot in outer space?
(33) What Playmate's mother had a nude scene in a 1982 movie about a robot in outer space?

HINT: (32) is obvious, but (33) is another "black belt" question. In fact, maybe I'm wrong about it myself! This Playmate's mother has never appeared in Playboy, and Playboy has always referred to her as a singer rather than as an actress. But I **think** that's she, doing that nude scene in the 1982 movie - in any case, that actress has the same name as the Playmate's Mom, so I'll bet that's who it is!
