Here's a short review of the new Playboy video "Complete Massage."
I'm not in possession of PB's earlier massage videos
so have no direct basis for comparison though I do possess a few
written massage manuals. The techniques presented on the video
were consistent with the manual with two differences, one major
and one minor. 
The major difference was the degree of sexuality. In the video
we are told to view the massage "as a seduction." As
for the minor difference, the manuals condone the use of any vegetable
oil while the video recommends only "commercially available
oils," an indirect plug for those offered in the PB catalog.
The video is organized into titled segments much like other PB offerings. Each segment features a male and a female model demonstrating various massage techniques while a female voice narrates. All the model's physiques were quite impressive, a pleasant aesthetic independent of the instructional value of the video. None of the models were credited but one bore a striking resemblance to Playmate Pia Reyes.
The techniques demonstrated included French, Swedish, and Japanese [Shiatzu] with the first two types emphasizing effleurage or stroking methods while the third emphasizes pressure-point methods. A liability disclaimer appears as part of the introduction though I saw nothing I deemed hazardous with the possible exception of some of the stretching exercises demonstrated.
In summary, this video provides a nice companion to any standard text on massage, a dynamic picture being worth a thousand words and static sketches.
