Here's my review of the PB video "Voluptuous Vixens."
Playmates featured: Jami Ferrell, Melissa Halliday, Jessica Lee, Shae Marks, Stacy Sanches, Carrie Stevens*, Kimber West and Carrie Westcott
* - I am not familiar with Carrie Stevens but I have a good conjecture who she is in this video.
Others: Amanda, Christy Carrera, Busty Dusty, Sarenna Lee, Sabrina, Kim Sanches and Tracy Topps.
Kim I know by sight. If Christy is the same as the NSS model, then I didn't pick her out in the video. The others are hopeless for me to identify so I'll refer to them by descriptive nominations. We have "Bo Brown," a bodacious brunette; "Red," a cute redhead; "Beauty Mark," a blonde that looks like PM Karen Foster except with more of everything; "Big Blonde," a well-endowed blonde; "Pretty Face," an ample model with face and colors like PM Carrie Westcott only more sweet than sultry; and "Navel Ring."
The segments are untitled and unnarrated. I've added my own titles for identification purposes. As usual, the numbers are the approximate start time in minutes.
(02) Title: SM, MH, and "Beauty Mark." The girls disrobe against the usual blue background. An off-screen trampoline is used to induce the obvious vertical motion. Sans bra, the whole idea made me wince but Shae at least looks quite cheerful about it. I had similar misgivings throughout the whole video. Even the most elastic of rubber bands will eventually snap!
(04) Russ Meyer Interlude: Surrounded by SS, MH, "Red," "Beauty Mark," and "Big Blonde," famed director Russ Meyer talks about breasts, big breasts, cantilevered breasts, conical breasts, big-breasted girls of the past, big-breasted girls of the present, big-breasted girls in Latex swimsuits, and big-breasted girls without swimsuits. He noted that big-breasted girls of the 50's can't be compared to those of today which I interpreted as a subtle reference to the modern use of implants. In my opinion, that was the closest thing he said to something of content.
(05) "Merry Maids:" JF and "Bo Brown." A businessman in an upscale hotel prepares to leave his room for a meeting when two lovely maids arrive to clean. In his hurry to leave, he trips and conks his head starting a hallucination. Our lovelies disrobe down to black lingerie and beyond to pose and cavort on the bedtop. "Bo Brown" pushes the envelope with some rather suggestive moves making Jami look sweet, innocent, embarassed, and downright inhibited. "Bo" has one manipulation of her breasts that's reminiscent of the TV commercial, "A Slinky, a Slinky; Fun for a girl or a boy..." However, "Bo" had such wild smiling enthusiasm that I was charmed in a tawdry sort of way. Just as our hero joins the ladies and barely gets his hair mussed, the dream ends leaving our hero lying on the floor looking silly and helpless.
(11) "Strings and Things:" JL, "Red," SM, and "Big Blonde." Tux-clad greybeard conducts the girls in a string quartet playing classical music. I wish they had used horns instead, then I could have entitled it, "Tooty Fruity" :-) The producers and models had quite a bit of fun with this one. They show a pair of lemons and put JL thru her paces. They show a pair of large red apples and put "Red" thru her paces. They show a pair of cataloupe and put SM thru her paces. Finally they show a pair of watermelons and put "Big Blonde" thru her paces. In case it's not clear, each model is roughly proportionate to the ascending sizes of fruit. This sight-gag solves the mystery of why petite Jessica Lee appears in this video. They repeat the watermelon theme with milk jugs :-) and basketballs. Shae's smiley charm seems to have grown in proportion to her adjustments. My, what big, er, teeth you have!! It was a little weird having the models lick, bite, and eat their respective fruits but fun nevertheless. Shae's nippers and the comedic effect make this one great segment.

(17) "Barstool Babes:" SM, KS, "CS."
Sporting school-girl hairdos [ponytails and such,] sweaters, and wool skirts; the girls start seated at a soda bar. The jukebox plays and the girls strip down to red lingerie and beyond. Kim is as competent as usual but gave off no sparks. Shae's [now] dark hair and the lighting worked together to really bring out the blue in her lovely eyes. Her smile sizzles. In contrast, Ice Princess, "CS" has striking frosty steel blue-grey eyes, dark hair, and cool creamy skin. Beautiful, for those that like a little chill in the room!
(20) "Jami's Bubbles:" JF. Jami's taking a bubble bath. Kind of slow until she breaks out the baby oil, then things get warm. Could be hot, if only Jami would smile more.
(23) Russ Meyer Interlude:
(24) "Dance Number:" "Beauty Mark." "Beauty" and six tuxclad fellows dancing interspersed with scenes of "Beauty" posing on a red heart-shaped bed. Slow, but "Beauty's" rapport with the camera does charm.
(29) "Adobe Dusk:" MH and KW. General disrobing accented by candles, lilies, and blue-felt wall hangings. Melissa is larger than we've seen before, not an improvement in my book. She still hasn't figured out that lateral wiggle she couldn't do in W&W-VII. [Where's LMS or RJM when you need them?] Kimber does some nice shadow-dancing though I still get the impression that the director is keeping too tight a hand on the reins. Loosen up and give that filly her head, she knows how to run, I can tell!!
(32) Russ Meyer Interlude:
(33) "Poolside Posing:" CW and SS. While their escorts nap, the girls decide to have some fun while enthusiastic pool attendants watch. Bikini's go. The girls don't show us anything we haven't seen before however the reprise is rather satisfying. Both girls do an advancing strut to die for. Stacy's eyes are as exquisite as ever and Carrie's facial expressions make a fellow want to just be there! Also Carrie's enhancements have been adjusted to a more natural hang, quite pleasant in fact.
(39) "Picturesque Posing:" SM and "CS." Shae is cuddly and warm; "Carrie" is aloof and frosty. Both girls strain to hold awkward static poses while the camera pans. Shae on her back with a huge beachball held between her uplifted calves forms a memorable image [can't imagine why? :-) ] "Carrie" tries blowing a kiss, brrrrr!
(42) Russ Meyer Interlude:
(43) "Shadows:" "Red" and "Navel Ring." Both girls display some nice moves with busts and buns limned and faces shadowed. I found it rather impersonal. Once again, baby oil adds some heat.

(48) "Lounge Act:" "Pretty Face." Dark-eyed and blonde, "Pretty" and escort enter an upscale lounge and sit at the bar. Goofy waiter fantasizes about "Pretty" sans clingy dress. Our heroine has a face that I could spend hours looking at, rendering the rest of her ample form irrelevant. She adds to her allure by donning glasses at one point. Later the glasses are doffed and perched on her head-sized left breast, very comedic!

(53) Credits: Reprise of "Jami's Bubbles."
In summary, this one's a keeper, Russ Meyer's obsession aside, though not a favorite. Shae Marks is the sweetheart of this video, Kimber West is still the dark horse in future races, and "fruity" sight-gags keep me smiling.
