Hello fellow Namegivers. My name is Darakk of V’strimon, I’m T’skrang and I passionately live through the adept discipline of the weaponsmith. Before I begin to talk about myself and all that I do and have done, I must specify that despite my name, I was not born in V’strimon, but in the small village of K’setova, which aboards the shores of the great reed city. My fellow brother K’saro is also of K’setova and he too, now lives in V’strimon. The reason why we do not live in our native village anymore, is because of pirates who attacked and plundered our village. I barely escaped this attack while I was still but a young adept.
Right now, I’m of the 7th circle and I barely begin to understand the world has it is, even though I have lived more adventures and have seen more horrors, wonders and Horrors than most people. So anyone with less experience who claims otherwise, is a big liar...
What can I say about myself besides the obvious? Like I told you, I’m a weaponsmith adept, which pretty much says it all. If you want a physical description, well then, I’m 6 feet tall, thirteen years of age, have green scales except on my head fines which are red and yellow, I have green eyes and a tattoo on my entire tail which is the symbol of the alliance I have made with dragons. I usually wear three different sets of clothing, one for when I’m in the forge, another one when I’m at important events or on vacation and the last one is my adventurers clothing which is probably the one you’ll see me in the most often. It consists of a pair of pants, an ample sleeved shirt, my cape which has a hood and my felt and leather hat. But now the thing that probably distinguishes me from anybody else, is my eye patch on my left eye, which has a dragon on it. If you ever see him red, than you’d probably best wait for my too cool off.
If you look at the adventure logs of the Wandering Elements ( that’s my group if you don’t already know ), you will see that I haven’t written a lot. There are many reasons to this. First of all, I keep my own personal journals, the reason is that sometimes I might want to note something very important to me, something that might not have attracted the attention of my friends, like information or details about a weapon or an armor. These sort of things have proven useful in the past, more than once. But I do not want to bother anybody with my sense of observation and my attention to details. A second reason for having my own journals and not writing too often in the group logs, comes from a bad habit from some of my companions. If you read the group logs written by me and my personal logs, there’s one thing you can be sure of. The story will be told has it happened. Unlike Shannsha, I won’t turn a story to my advantage, leaving the teamwork in the background, but what else could you expect from an Obsidiman warrior, right? The same thing is of K’saro who I’m a bit sorry to say, is a swordmaster. But even though they have this nasty habit, they are worth there Names when defending there comrades in arms or the innocent. Don’t think I see them as liars, for some of the things they say, are the truth, but they have these tendencies of forgetting others when it comes to credits and telling stories. So don’t let yourself be TOO impressed by what they say about themselves.
Seems like I’m going through the circle of friends so might has well keep going in that way of thinking... Then there ’s Blitz, proud Blitz. A few months ago, before he got his air ship, I would of told you that the day he would get his ship, he would show us that he’s the greatest skyraider. Now that he has it, I know he’s the best in all Barsaive. When Blitz tell’s a story, you can count on him for sticking to the facts. Altough his dwarven is somewhat crude, he will always find a way to get his message across, but then again you have to understand that he sees everything through the eyes of a Troll. For him, sometimes, understanding means: take a good look at my axe... now do you understand or do you want a closer look? Nevertheless, I trust Blitz and would put my life on the line for him for I know he is ready to do the same, because we already did once. To you, axe brother!
Razak.......... Razak. There’s someone very hard to understand, and someone very frightening when you don’t know him very well. ( I know he appreciates me saying that ) I must admit, that there were times when all I wanted to know from Razak, was the sound of my Houros splitting his skull in half. But like I said, if you give him half a chance and if you can get pass his morbidity, he’ll show you that he can win his place and sometimes, in grim situations you’ll even be able to appreciate his killing sense of humor!?! But the one thing you cannot take away from Razak, is his dedication has an adept of the dead art.
Finally and none the less, Kzwx. Now there’s a fellow that sees the world in colors. Although he might exaggerate, probably due to his size, he will never leave someone out of the picture. Being an excellent elementalist, Kzwx will fight in his own unique way. Sometimes, his way can be the only way, but if there’s one thing I know, when Kzwx his behind you, he’s there a 100%, no matter what his size or the one of his enemy. The only bad thing, from him, that I can think of is the countless times we had to pick him up because he hurled himself in a camp fire..........
So there you go, enjoy our adventures and don’t forget, do not believe everything a pompous swordmaster or warrior will tell or write, see what there friends have to say about the exploits before you start spreading the legend around. Know me not only for my great feats, but also for the T’skrang that I am.
May the Passions protect you
With all my love and sincerity
Darakk of V’strimon
