Moving and Copying files with AutoSort
To move or copy files that you have identified during an identification session , select [File]->[Move/Copy Marked Files...] from the main program menu.
Once you have selected the desired options and destination folder(directory), AutoSort will toss all files that have been properly identified(red check mark) to folders bearing the celeb's name. The individual folders will be created with the information provided in the celebrity database , combined with the options selected in the Storage Folder Options.
IMPORTANT - Have a look at the options and select appropriate storage folder naming convention options *before* you move/copy files. The folder naming convention can be changed later but converting existing folders is a painfull process and isn't graranteed to work in all cases, especially if your main storage folder contains folders from various sources. You have been warned. It is also recommended that you use the sub-alphabetize option. This helps keeping your collection cleaner and avoids gathering thousands of celebrity folders in the root folder. This will greatly reduce the amout of time required by MS Windows to read/scan those folders.

DESTINATION FOLDER
This folder is used as a root folder where all the celebrity folders will be created. The files will then be tossed (sorted) to those celebrity folders. Folders will only be created on an 'as needed' basis, no folders will be created for celebrities you don't have.
Folder Selection Box - You can either type the desired path or browse for one with the [...] button. A history of the 10 most recently used folders is available by clicking the little down arrow at the end of this box.
Move / Copy Options - You may select any one of the two options:
Move Marked Files - Properly identified (marked) files will be moved from your source(identification) folder to the destination folder. A safe move operation (copy then delete) is performed to prevent any possible data loss. Copy Marked Files - Properly identified (marked) files will be copied from your source(identification) folder to the destination folder, leaving your original files untouched.
SPECIAL CASES
File Name Collisions - AutoSort will detect identical file name collisions between your identification(source) folder and your collection(destination) folder. Upon such collision, the source and destination files will be compared byte for byte to determine if they are truly identical or not.
If they are identical, AutoSort leaves the file in your collection untouched and deletes the file from your source folder. Only one file is kept since those are true duplicates. If the files are not perfectly identical, the action AutoSort takes depends on the 'Overwrite non-identical destination' setting in the 'File Moving/Copying Options'
Multiple Celebrity Files - Files may be identified as more than one celebrity(more than one check mark) The action AutoSort takes in this situation depends on the 'Allow Duplicate Creation' setting in the 'File Moving/Copying Options' . Allowing duplicate creation means that a file will be copied to all selected celebrity folders before being deleted from the source folder.
