RMHA Coach Web Site Instructions

  1. To register your team.
    1. Once you have your sweaters and your team is complete.
    2. Name someone (can be you) to be responsible for this years stats for your team.
    3. Give that person a team list with the sweater numbers.
    4. Have that person do the following.
      1. Go to http://rmha.webhop.net/ and use the coach link to get to http://rmha.webhop.net/CoachAccess.html. This is the main coach access page.
      2. From there, use the registration link or page down to the registration section.
      3. Fill in the level (Initiation, Atom, PeeWee, Bantam, etc), your team number if you have one, and category (Nation (House) or PGL (Competitive)). Check the "Girls" checkbox if your team is a girls team.
      4. Enter your full name and email. This will be used for RMHA stats purposes only in case there is a problem or a clarification is needed.
      5. Overwrite the coachesí section with the appropriate information. There can be a max of 4 assist coaches, 1 coach, 1 trainer and 1 manager. Please use the format specified in the form. Remove the last line with parenthesis from that box. Note: If you provide telephone numbers and email addresses in this section, they will be displayed on the RMHA site.
      6. Enter total number of players including goalies.
      7. Enter players list. Please use the format specified in the form. Use the sweater number as the number. Donít include goalies except if your goalies sometimes play forward. Remove etc from the box.
      8. Enter goalies list. Please use the format specified in the form. Use the sweater number as the number. Remove the extra line if you have only 1 goalie.
      9. Choose a password (case sensitive alphabetic only). This will be required for all updates. Of course donít let anyone else know this password. Retype that password for verification in the second box.
      10. Hit SUBMIT to submit the form.
    5. A confirmation will be sent back via the email address provided.  The web site should be updated within 24 hours (except weekends).  If you have your initial schedule, you donít have to wait for the confirmation email.  Continue with the next step right away.
  2. Once registered, and you have your schedule, have the stats person go to http://rmha.webhop.net/InitSched.html
    1. If the TeamCode is not filled in for you, enter the code as provided in the confirmation message sent to you.  Enter your name and email if not already filled in.
    2. Enter the schedule as per the format in the box.   Game number should be used as the number.   Time can be entered in 24 hour format, hh:mm, or 12 hour format hh:mm pm.   Use H if your team is home team; use V if your team is visitor team.   Enter other teamís name and location.  I asked for location as some teams are different that the playing location.
    3. Hit SUBMIT to submit the schedule.
    4. A confirmation page will be displayed.
  3. Other updates will be required during the season.  Weekly updates would be appreciated.  All these other updates will be accessed via the startup page provided in your registration confirmation email or via the http://rmha.webhop.net/CoachAccess.html page where you select your specific team and your password to get to your personal page.
    1. If there are changes or errors in the coaches' list, use the coaches' section to update.
    2. If there are changes or errors in the goalies' list, use the goalies' section to update.
    3. If there are changes or errors in the players' list, use the players' section to update.
    4. Update the comment section if you want to update your team's comment.
    5. Use the practice section to have the practice times show up on your schedule page.   You donít need to delete the practice once they have passed as it will be done automatically (probably within 24 hours).
    6. Use the game result section to send in the game stats.  (One game at a time)
      1. Enter Rockland and other team scores.
      2. Select the goalie that goaled the Rockland net.  If you use more than 1 goalie/game, let me know via the email link at the bottom.  If you do this on a regular basis, let me know, Iíll change this section to make this easier.
      3. Enter the Rockland scoring detail via the scorer and assists sweater number.  Use the players' list to get the sweater number.  Use the ìAdd Goalî button to update the score list.
      4. The RESET button can be used anytime to reset the section so that you can start over again.
      5. Use the SUBMIT button to submit the game.
    7. Use the game change section if a regular is changed.  (Different time because of a tournament).  Send me an email if there is an error in the game numbers or if some games have to be deleted.
    8. Use the Exhibition section when you have schedule an exhibition game.  Exhibition games will be deleted automatically after they have been played.  No stats are kept for these.
    9. Use the tournament section for tournament information.  These will not be deleted automatically after they have been played.  You can therefore update the comment after the tournament with quick results.  EG: lost in final or won the B division.
  4. Let your parents know about the RMHA site.  Give them the address http://rmha.webhop.net.  From there, they can follow the news and also see the stats and schedule from your team.
