My name is Alexandre van Chestein, and I am an artist.
Some may say that doesn't mean much in today's society, but I
believe it still carries its weight. Being an artist,
someone who creates, is perhaps the only attainable way for
me to have a clear conscience when I think of the future.
This is for me the best way to ensure that once I pass on,
I won't vanish from history. Leaving something tangible
behind is of the utmost importance to me, and that is why
I will always support and commend those who truly take
	advantage of their creativity.

I live in Québec, Canada, yet most of my published endeavors
have been in the United States, and despite my being
bilingual, nearly all of it has been in English so far, with
nearly none in French. Just as well, though, as while French
is my mother tongue, I express myself better in English. My
art has been featured in The Shadowrun Supplemental, the
	longest-running Shadowrun RPG fan publication on the net;
I've contributed to its article art, as well as producing a
two-page comic for two issues running. Additionally, I've
written several articles for the magazine, and am still on
the writing staff as issues keep coming. TSS is part of the
Dumpshock cluster; links to it can be found in the Links
	section.

Professionally-speaking, I've written part of a Shadowrun RPG
book which should be available to the public in November of
2001; I am also still involved as a freelancer for FanPro,
the current publisher of Shadowrun material. I am present
yearly at GenCon, the largest north-american gaming
convention, and this year I will also be part of the game
	masters for the Shadowrun Tourney.

As far as the future goes, I'm continuing my freelancer and
artist endeavors for the Shadowrun RPG, as well as planning
to branch out deeper into the realm of gaming, as that is
one of my main passions -- and passion mixed with creativity
	produces the best results.

Should you want to submit commissions for art, feel free to
contact me at havoc@videotron.ca and we'll work something
out -- I'm always willing to supply my skills in any way I
	can.

	Havoc out.
