How Many Episodes? - 26 total, all available (legally) in North America. A couple of OVAs too, I believe. Not (yet) commercially available.
Subject Matter? - No problem. Can be watched by anyone (who can read, that is. Only available subtitled right now)
Background Knowledge Required? - Not necessarily. Each episode is a story all in itself, but I was curious to find out how the characters got to where they are.
What's It About? - The story follows the adventures of a bumbling Justy Ueki Tylor as he (somehow) is awarded the position of captain aboard the most delinquent ship in the entire
United Planets Space Force fleet, the "Soyokaze".
Rating - 9 out of 10.
Why? - 'Cause this is funny stuff! Some of it IS predictable, but it's still pretty darned funny!
Where can I find it? - Released by The Right Stuf. I've seen a couple volumes for sale at HMV also. (Yes, even though it's only subbed.)
