in Joliette, Québec, Canada,
Josée
hasnow adopted the Eastern Townships as her home.
She
can most often be found in her unique St-Adrien house
or
in her own gallery,
the
ArtAzo Studio-Gallery,
located
in the heart of Old Sherbrooke.
Glorious
lights, rich and vibrant colours,
spontaneous
brush strokes,
these
describe the very touching art
of
Josée Perreault.
Josée's
watercolours
can
sometimes be bold and strong,
but
they can also pay homage to softness and poetry. But one thing is for sure,
they
always are lyrically breathtaking,
carry
strong emotion
and
bring to the world subtle atmospheres.
She
developed a particular
and
innovative painterly approach using varnished, rack-mountedoversized canvas
as
a result of many years of researching
in
the watercolour medium.
