In the precentral gyrus, none of the metabolite ratios showed any significant variation following minocycline administration. Larger variations were measured in the brainstem at t = 6 weeks: NAA/Cr (+8.7%), Cho/Cr (+15%), mI/Cr (+20%) and NAA/mI (-11%), but only mI/Cr showed a tendency toward statistical significance (p = 0.06). As the expected NAA decrease was not observed, minocycline seems to have some effect.
