I was born in Montreal and moved to Joliette when I was 7.  Once I graduated from High School, I moved back to the big city and that is where I met my husband.

We'll be celebrating 22 years of marriage on Aug.14, 2004.    We have one child and his name is Michael.  He will turn 16 years old on March 11th, 2003.  I can't believe how time has just flown by and now he's in High School.  Of course there are family pets, our dog Max born on July 7th, 1994 , a stray cat that was abandoned who now calls my house his home.  I have called him Jag....he is a beauty.  Tazz my beautiful Guinea Pig passed over the rainbow bridge on November 13, 2003 which was very painful!  She is buried in my backyard amongst my flowers!

I love bike riding, being with my family and my volunteer work!

I AM PROUD TO BE A VOLUNTEER

I began to do volunteer work for our animal shelter called the SPCA de la Monteregie.  It has been the most rewarding and fulfilling achievement of my life.  I decided that the year 2003 would be for me!  I walk dogs there come rain, snow, sleet or hail.  I've walked them with the cold so biting it hurt.  It often hit temps of -40 celsius with the windchill factor but never the less......we walk along!  Before I leave, I'll spend time with all the kittens and cats that are also there!

There are good days when I go but there are also times when I walk out of there simply - crying.  So many animals are neglected, abused or abandoned.  It truly is disgusting to see.  Alot of people think that I have rocks in my head for doing this but you know what?  I'm a much better person for it and I really do not care what others think.  I've gotten to a point in my life where I needed to do something for myself and this is it!

Each day I go, the animals jump when they see me, begin to bark and wag their cute little tails.   If I can bring a dog out of depression, bring joy and improve it's quality of life - then I've done my job and I know that I do it well.  My son, Michael, also helps me walk them for his love of animals is as strong as mine!  :) :)  That's my boy!!

They all show their love for me when I'm there and it's the most rewarding experience ofmy life!

FOODS:

Any Italian or chicken dish will win me over...hehe  I'm not a fussy eater, just don't put any type of sea-food on my plate.  Like anyone else, I've got a wicked sweet tooth and I won't say no to desserts.

TAKE A MOMENT AND GO TO MY WEBRINGS PAGE AND VISIT THE GROUPS I BELONG TO.  ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT PEOPLE!!
