General status are general comments. Statuses will be used to signal minor events and situations.
I did not expect that many little things to change between 0.30e and 0.4x, quite a few things need to be worked out. I would not be too surprised if 0.42c came out before I finish my patching.
[2004-04-22] Still trying to sort out problems porting my tweaks to 0.42b... turned out I had to drop a few of them because eMule's core has changed quite a bit in some places. Right now, if I am lucky, I might only have library paths left to fix before I can get a working (I hope) build. After this, I will start adapting my tweaks to eMule+ and probably quit doing my own builds until I am ready to start testing MAFS.
Adapting changes to new versions seems like unnecessary trouble so after I will be done modding eMule 0.42, I will probably port my more useful changes to eMule+ and discontinue my own builds until I am ready to start testing MAFS.
This should give me some more time to finish stuff. I kicked MT 0.1.0.1-alpha3 out the door so I could start working on all the ideas I got for the next build. This obviously means further work on eMule-related stuff will be delayed.
MoonlightTorrent 0.1.0.1-alpha3 lasted until mid-April.

Now that MoonlightTorrent is working decently well both ways, I will soon start reviewing my eMule hacks.
Funny thing is that about two weeks ago, I was having arguments with one of my friends who is involved in the web-hosting business... he was telling me I would regret not getting domain names and I kept telling him I did not need a domain and did not want to bother with getting one. Now I have two, let's see how useful 2004 will say my domain names were.
BTW: I might be one day late but there it is anyway...
