East 17 are to be re-launched as E-17 with their record company Telstar spending around £1m on a four-part series of promotional videos. The first £250,000 movie-style video promotes Each Time, out on October 26, the first single taken from the album Resurrection (released on November 9). Filmed in New York and directed by Nick Quested, the video has a gangster theme and involves Brian Harvey kidnapping a gang leader’s girlfriend. The story will be continued in the videos for the next three singles with the follow-up scheduled for the new year. Following plays on MTV, The Box and ITV’s CD:UK, the promo of Each Time is due to be shown later this month on This Morning (October 22), The O Zone (October 27) and The Mag (October 24). |

E17 are back with a new single 18 months after they fell apart - and are heading off in exciting new directions. The boys have a new look, a new name, a new record deal and a new sound. Frontman Tony Mortimer has gone solo - leaving pals Brian Harvey, Terry Coldwell, and John Hendy to continue. Their debut single as a trio, 'Each Time,' is released on October 26th and is going down a storm with radio stations. They have dropped the 'East' and are now known simply as E-17. And Brian says: "It's great to be back." Despite troubles in the past 18 months, the boys have decided to 'Stay Another Day!' "The last 18 months have been a nightmare and it's something I would rather forget," says Brian. "I hope our old fans will like what we have done but also that we can add new ones. "This single has been written by me and the other boys." 'Each Time' is a mix of pop and R&B and is accompanied by a stunning mini movie style video. The £250,000 video was shot in New York and features car chases, bed scenes with beautiful women and encounters with villains. Brian adds: "I am very pleased with my role as a hard man - I reckon I could give Vinnie Jones a run for his money!" The single is being released in the U.K. on October 26th, with an album scheduled to follow on November 9th. People in the U.K. can hear the new E-17 single first by calling: 0660 115574. Calls cost 60p per minute. |

Brian was recently given a £100,000 Ferrari 348
Injection sports car by record company Telstar - as a thank-you for making
the band's new album. A pal said: "Brian is over the moon. He has wanted
to have a red Ferrari since he was a lad." Brian has not yet had a chance
to drive it yet though, as the band have jetted to New York to shoot the
video for their new single, 'Each Time', which as you know is out next
month. Also Brian has been reunited with his wife Natasha, who walked out
on him last year, taking their nine-month-old daughter Tiegan.

The new single by E17 is planned to come out in the middle
of October and is called "Each Time", not each time we're alone :-) Also
they are busy writing for their new album which is planned to come out
before Christmas. Telstar's press office said that they have also matured
with their music.

E17 have decided to sign a new contract to Telstar Records. Although Telstar is a small company E17 decided this would be the best company to sign to as it offered them the most freedom. It was rumoured that E17 also got many offers from bigger companys but they signed to Telstar for about £1,000,000. This now means that E17 plan to relase their new album in the summer. |
