Black Heritage 2000 Tours

Tours are available through-out the year to North America's black historic sites, museums and churches.

Black Theatre Workshop

The emergence of BTW in the sixties is in part a response to Canada’s efforts to create a national culture that is a reflection of the many cultures that make up the country. But most of all it answers to the expressed need of the Black community to celebrate itself and the gifts of art and culture that we bring and wish to share with all other Canadians.

Black Star project

This project is a big brother type program affiliated with Big Brothers/Big Sisters Canada which seeks to recruit adult black males in the Montreal area to be friends and good role models to English-speaking black boys aged 8 to 14 years who come from female headed single parent families and who lack male figure in their lives.

February is African Heritage Month

"I'm on my way to Canada,
That cold, but happy land;
The dire effects of Slavery
I can no longer stand.
O righteous Father,
Do look down on me,
And help me on to Canada,
Where colored folks are free!"

Stress and Other Workplace Afflictions

To increase the awareness of treating people with fairness, dignity, and respect in the workplace.
