The 2005 Series will provide experienced teams
with very good challenges and will also have the objective of
initiating newcomers to adventure racing. We want to offer
quality races at minimal costs in order that people can
participate in all the races of the series and further develop
adventure racing as a sport.

For all races, participants must be able to
use a topographic map and compass. Level of difficulty:
accessible to all.
Presentation of race #1
March 5th 2004 -- winter race – length: 5 to 8 hrs
New: there will be an advanced run for teams wishing a little
more challenge

The run:
Well known for its superb snow conditions and mountainous
terrain, the Nakkertok Nordic skiing club, with its numerous
Nordic skiing and wooded trails for snow shoeing, is the ideal
place for a winter raid. Mountain bike sections will be held on
gravelled secondary roads.
Event Schedule and Timetable::
Saturday, March 5th

6:30 to 8: 30 - Greeting and team registration, (distribution of
race kits and checking of mandatory equipment)

8:35 to 9: 25 - Pre race meeting, distribution of maps and race
sheets. Providing a general view of the run, answering
questions…

9:25 to 9: 55 - Final preparations before the start.

9:55 - Start of count down, calling the racers (pole position
for the last year winners).

10 :00 - START

15:00- ARRIVAL OF FIRST TEAMS

18:00 – ARRIVAL OF LAST TEAMS and end of the raid

18:00 - Hearty post race meal.

18:30 - Distribution of prizes and medals for the solo and duo
categories and for participation.

19:00 - Post race party …

The winning team in each category will receive free registration
