The heel cap is used to provide a
visual terminus and to protect the heel end. On my guitar, the heel cap is
made out of plastic and has an ivoroid color. As shown on the picture below,
I used two Cam clamps and epoxy adhesive to attach the ivoroid plastic neck
heel cap onto the bottom of the heel.
