Circus Left Town/ Tears in Heaven/ Before You Accuse Me/ Tearing us Apart/ Old Love/ Badge/ Wonderful Tonight/ Layla/ Crossroads/ Tears in Heaven
Whilst this CD is titled "Acoustic" certain sections of it cannot be so. The second version of "Tears in Heaven", however, is unexplained, although it's quite possible that it's taken from the widely-sourced "Unplugged" sessions *or* the equally-widely-sourced MTV Awards on 9/9/92.

Despite claims to the contrary in the Bootography Companion, it is my opinion (shared by others) that there is no difference in sound quality between "The Circus Has Left Town" (KTS) and "Tears In Heaven" (KTS). (R.B.)

Rehearsals also took place on the 15th and 16th, but Dylan did not attend, making the likely date of this recording the 13th or 14th. Note that this CD includes an 11-minute interview with EC. (R.B.)

Band lineups uncertain because this is the all-star 'Bobfest' from 1992. Eric only played on "Love Minus Zero" and "Don't Think Twice (It's Alright)" plus the final two tracks. Probably to be found filed under Bob Dylan.
Here is a note of interest concerning this release:
"The source is different from the "official" releases, the mixes are quite
different in part. If you listen to ECs first opening notes from "Don't
Think Twice" on "Celebration Night", the sound is real "open" like an
audience recording, then closes in, this doesn't happen on the official
releases, I've listened to the CD, the laserdisc, and today the VHS
(hearing the tape hiss on Celebration Night, I thought maybe the boot was
sourced from the video). And the mix on Harrison's "Sweet Marie" is
COMPLETELY different, GE Smith's wonderful Tele work is nonexistent except
for his solo on the official release, on the boot it's quite prominent.
These are the two most notable differences I can think of, but there are
more. A note to that effect might help people wondering why they should
purchase Celebration Night if they already have the Bobfest." (M.D.)

There is no doubt that this recording is largly taken from the Brighton show. It is also certain that "Let It Rain" is from another show, and possibly there are other songs from yet another show. I personally have only heard one song from this CD ("My Father's Eyes") and it from Brighton. I've received conflicting information from a number of Slowhand subscribers, but it would seem that perhaps all of the CD is from Brighton except "Let It Rain", which I've been told is from Festival Hall, Brisbane, Australia on 14-04-75 and was released on "Milk Cow Blues".
