This show was taped for direct tv broadcast in Japan, which is presumably the source for this
excellent soundboard. Unfortunately, missing from the CD is Pilgrim and Broken Hearted.
White Room received its only performance this night and is listed as WHITE'O ROOM'O on the
CD. Is this politically correct? On the side of the CD it reads "Last Update Tokyo Oct. 27,
1997" (R.B.)

This is the full show without the jam with Robert Cray. An excellent Audience
recording. This one is better than previously released CD, but unstable and
fadeway in first song. (S.Y. / R.B.) Is there a "Legends" release on a Snake label, or
is there only
the one on EC is Here? Any information would be appreciated. (R.B.)

The first show is captured in excellent stereo, a nice performance, very polished. The second show matches the performance, but sound quality is down a bit. It has the compressed quality of a radio broadcast. Still very enjoyable. Everything comes in a soft plastic CD wallet with no insert and simply sticker-liker labels on front and back. (J.K. / R.B.)

Another Excellent Japanese set of audience recordings. IMHO this one is superior to the
incredible "10 Days" set. Like that set, this one is consistent in sound quality and
contains each
show complete from about a minute before Clapton steps on stage to a minute or two after he
leaves. Not a single glitch anywhere!! Warner should look for the guys who produced this set an
offer them a job producing live CDS. If only the legitimate recording industry could produce
something this good. (R.B.)
