Many recordings are listed as sb6, and I seriously doubt that
any one of them is worthy of such a high rating. "An Acoustic
Tale" is a sb5, and I understand from others that this has
the best quality sound of the bunch. Of the three different releases
that I have heard of this show (all on CD), "An Acoustic
Tale" does have the best sound, but it is only slightly better
and certainly deserves no more than a sb5.
I have chosen not to downgrade the CDs that I have heard in this section. To do so, while leaving the others at sb6, would suggest that the recordings I have not heard are superior in quality to those that I have. This is very unlikely! My understanding is that all of the soundboards from this show are worthy of sb4-sb5. Some are slightly better, but all are good. In most cases, choices between the various available releases of this show should probably be made based on the setlist, and not on the sound quality. (R.B.)
