The disc integrates two popular standards: the audio CD and the CD-ROM.
630 megabites are used on a support that can hold a maximum of 650. The audio section
has 10 musical parts for a total of 44 minutes and the multimedia section holds a 208
megabites long presentation with sound, graphics, images and video.
"Les Saisons du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean" are presented as a compact
disk accompanied by seizing photographs referring to each musical topic.
Commented in three languages, a descriptive text of the topic makes it
possible for the listener to fully seize the sound images and the emotions they
suggest.
Dedicated to music lovers, it agreeably completes the stay of the visitor
in our region. Back to his country, Les Saisons du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean will
remind him of the memories he lived while presenting our other seasons.
Integrating varied musical styles and good rythmns typical to the boomers
generation visiting us, one will listen to this music in the comfort of his
living room as well as a background during a supper with friends. Voices often
accompany the music but there is no text in order not to harm the
international signification of the product. A good quality booklet supplements
the disc. The original photographs are of Alain Dumas. The comments in three
languages supplement the whole making it a product of exceptional cultural tourism
without borders.
