Hello and welcome to Education Community.
Since you are here, I suppose you would like to know a little more about me. My name is Daniel Séguin and I am a student in the Early Childhood and Elementary Education program at Concordia University, Montreal. This website I have created happens to be my past time and my passion. I have now been building websites for over two years through a little company, W&S Web Design, that a colleague and I started. One could say Education Community is a testing ground and an inspiration to keep learning new and innovative ways of presenting information. (Therefore, allow me to immediately apologize for the ever-changing graphics and layout...) My work, studies and research have taken me from one end to the other of the world wide web. Over my travels, I have encountered various websites I believe could be of interest to teachers and student teachers alike. My understanding is that not all my colleagues have the time to search and find valid/useful information on the web. This is why I have decided to dedicate my website to them. My goal with Education Community is to make available all sorts of information related to education -lesson plans, links to educational websites, helpful articles, and other technology related pages such as my website evaluation page. Many of these articles are the result of classroom assignments that I have adapted for my website. I invite you to use any pertinent information you might find on my site and print out evaluation scales for your own use. I will be trying to update my page at least once a month, but as many of us know, the life of a student does not always lend itself to such a pledge. If for any reason you need more information, references, or if you have any ideas, comments, or specific information you would like to see on my site, please feel free to e-mail me. I would love to hear from all of you!
