With extremely sharp eyesight, incredible speed and a strong will, they require an owner with much patience, understanding, love and a stronger will... The female does in fact resemble the fox. In addition the Shiba Inu has
awsome tracking abilities and a nose used by the US customs officers to
assist in the fight against drugs. It is a normally obediant dog. The
Shiba Inu has been called the big dog in a little dog's body... Playfull
too !
