Chaque morceau est d'un genre unique.  Philippe étudie les sons que produisent les cellules en utilisant une photo qu'il avait prise en Provence ainsi que des échantillons de voix, les principes de résonance et de convolution.  skycrow étudie les sons moléculaires avec des filtres FFT, égalisateurs paramétriques et des échantillons bouclés.  Une de ses compositions est une improvisation pour vélo (roulant), microphone contact, et "digital delay".  Split release: Experimental, each piece quite different from the other. Philippe investigates the sounds of cells using a photo he took in Provence, resonance, voice samples and convolution.  skycrow investigates the sounds of molecules using FFT filters, parametric equalizers, looped samples. One piece is an improvisation for bicycle (in motion), contact mic and digital delay.

Many thanks to the Electronic Peasant for the idea for the VFD ring modulators.

Description:   a recontextualization of insomnia. music made while sleeping, but not really made for sleeping. like a bunch of semi-random chimes. the original insomnia project having been abandoned due to technical problems, i decided to make a little something out of the three recordings that survived. these were made using a contact mic under my mattress, recording whilst i was in bed. this picked up my movements and stuff as well as the vibrations from the fridge. then, each recording was sped up 32 times, run through some "5 combs" filters and bit of stereo delay to make them less mono.
