The fourth Canadian single from Amanda's album "Everybody's Got A Story" is the guitar ballad "Marry Me". It will be released to Canadian radio stations on September 5th. "Double Agent", the last single from the album is currently at #23 on the Canadian radio airplay chart - it's highest position yet. Continue to request both songs at your local radio station.

Canadian television network CTV has plans to broadcast the television special Amanda recorded at the Théâtre Corona in Montreal a few months ago.The show will air on Sunday, Sepetember 15th. For exact times, check your local TV guide or The performance has already aired on American satellite network MusicChoice, which surely created a new American fanbase for Amanda. The show consists of both classic Amanda songs, plus a few new tunes from "Everybody's Got A Story".

Sony Music Germany has released a commercial single for Amanda's "Sunday Morning After". The CD includes the following tracks:

Amanda will perform at the Western Fair Grounds in London, Ontario on September 14th.

Amanda's video for "Sunday Morning After" has been nominated at the MuchMusic Video Awards for "Best Pop Video". The video was directed by Stephen Scott, and features Amanda roaming around in a flooded apartment. The awards broadcast live on Much at 9:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 16. Amanda's online fans have chosen Double Agent as the third single from Everybody's Got A Story! The song will be released shortly to Canadian radio stations. The second place winner was "Colleen (I Saw Him First)".

Amanda Marshall is set to perform during the halftime show at the 2002 Toronto Argonauts home opener. The game is between the Argos and the Montreal Alouettes. It will be played at the SkyDome in Toronto, ON on Wednesday, July 3. Click here for ticket info.

Amanda Marshall will perform alongside Ja Rule, P. Diddy, Avril Lavigne, Remy Shand, Glenn Lewis and Tweet at the 2002 Wham Bam Canada Day Jam. This annual festival is put together by Toronto's KISS 92.5 FM. It will be held at the Skydome in Toronto, Ontario
on Monday, July 1.

Amanda Marshall will be taping a TV special during two shows at the Théâtre Corona in Montreal, PQ on Friday, May 31. The performances will present both her classic material as well as songs from her latest LP, 'Everybody's Got A Story. 'The first performance will be available for special contest winners only. Sony is offering 50 pairs of tickets to Amanda fans. If you'd like to grab a pair pf passes, send an e-mail with your complete name, address and phone number to To qualify, make your subject line the name of the song recently chosen by online fan voting to be the third single from 'Everybody's Got A Story.' They will give tickets to the 300th to 349th people to respond. Multiple messages will be deleted. Transportation will not be provided.There will be a second performance later that same night with tickets available for purchase. The $15 passes will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 28 at all Admission outlets, or by phone at 514-790-1245.

The American release date for "Everybody's Got A Story" has been pushed back yet again. It will now happen on June 11th, 2002. The single "Everybody's Got A Story" has been played on American radio occasionally. American Amanada fans should try to request the song as often as they can.

Amanda performed a one-off show at Chicago's House Of Blues on April 24th. She performed for one hour. Hopefully, this will signal a greater American presence for promotion of Amanda's new album in the US.

Unfortunately, Amanda did not win either of the Juno awards she was nominated for. Best Artist was won by Diana Krall and Best Single was won by Nickelback for 'How You Remind Me'. Amanda put on an amazing performance, starting with a an excerpt from "Everybody's Got A Story" followed by "Sunday Morning After".

Amanda has announced dates for the second leg of her current "Voice Inside Tour". Amanda will be visiting Canada's east coast, with stops in Halifax, Moncton and Charlottetown. For full details, visit our tour section. Here are the new dates:

Amanda is currently touring Canada in support of her CD "Everybody's Got A Story". The Voice Inside 2002 Tour began on March 1st in Ottawa and continues until March 17th in Vancouver. Amanda recently completed the music video for her new single "Sunday Morning After". Clips and interviews from the video shoot were recently shown on Canadian music video network MuchMoreMusic. Look out for the video on television shortly. The song has been receiving increasing radio play across Canada. It is currently at #55 on the Canadian radio charts and quickly moving up.

The nominations for Canada's Juno Awards have been announced. Congratulations to Amanda on two nominations. "Everybody's Got A Story" has been nominated as best single and Amanda has been nominated as best artist. We wish Amanda the best of luck. She has been nominated for several Juno's in the past, but has never won. Amanda will perform live during the Juno award ceremony. Sony Music Canada has tallied the results from their website poll which allowed fans to choose the second single from Amanda's album "Everybody's Got A Story". "Sunday Morning After" was the fans first choice. Listen for the song on Canadian radio shortly. Apparently, Double Agent and Colleen (I Saw Him First) were amongst the other most popular choices.

As you may know, Amanda is allowing her fans to choose the second single from her new CD "Everybody's Got A Story". You may vote for your choice at the official Sony website. Amanda has stated that so far, the songs that have received the most votes are "Double Agent", "Sunday Morning After" and "Colleen (I Saw Him First)". The sticker on Amanda's CD states "includes Everybody's Got A Story, Double Agent and Sunday Morning After". It seems likely that both those songs will be released as singles.

Big congratulations to Amanda this week, as her new album "Everybody's Got A Story" has gone platinum in Canada!! The album has only been available for a month, but has sold more than 100,000 copies. Sony Music has set a worldwide release for early 2002. Good luck conquering the world!
