TORONTO AIDS CONFERENCE PERFORMANCE
Amanda performed an awe-inspiring 4-song set at the 2006 International Aids Conference opening ceremony concert this past Sunday in Toronto. For her first public performance of the year, Amanda performed with a full band to a very enthusiastic crowd at the Roger's Center. Amanda's set list consisted of Believe In You, Fall From Grace, Love Is My Witness and Let It Rain. We all hope this will be the first of many more appearences for Amanda this year. Other notable performers at the benefit included Chantal Kreviazuk, Barenaked Ladies and Our Lady Peace.

AMANDA TO PERFORM AT 2006 INTERNATIONAL AIDS CONFERENCE IN TORONTO
After a long absence, Amanda will be making her first concert appearance of the year at the opening ceremonies for the 2006 International Aids Conference, being held at Toronto's Rogers Centre on August 13th. Amanda is scheduled to perform alongside several high profile acts including Chantal Kreviazuk, Our Lady Peace, Barenaked Ladies and Alicia Keys. Several major public figures will be speaking at the event including Bill Gates, Richard Gere, Governor General Michaelle Jean and actress Sandra Oh. Tickets are available at TicketMaster.

NEW AMANDA 'COLLECTIONS' ALBUM
On Jaunary 31st, SonyBMG Music Canada released a new album of Amanda Marshall's hits entitled "Collections". The CD is part of their series of discount compilations by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dolly Parton, The Bangles, Janis Joplin and many others. The track listing and cover are as follows:

GILDA'S CLUB BENEFIT
On December 5th, 2005, Amanda appeared at the 4th annual "It’s Always Something" Variety Show at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto. The show was held ito raise funds for Gilda’s Club, a support community for those touched by cancer. In addition to a performance by Amanda, there were appearences by Bryan Adams, Sex and the City’s Kim Cattrall, Eugene Levy, Corner Gas’ Brent Butt, Colin Mochrie, Canadian Idol Melissa O’Neil, Russell Peters, The Royal Canadian Air Farce, and many more. AMANDA'S CHRISTMAS SINGLE
According to several sources, a new Amanda Marshall Christmas track entitled "Chill Out For Christmas" has been played on Toronto area radio station CHUM-FM. According to the station's program director, the track was recorded at a recent Toronto-area New Christmas concert. If anyone can supply us with a clip of the song, it would be greatly appreciated.

WHERE IS AMANDA??
Amanda's recording contract with Sony Music expired after the release of her greatest hits collection "Intermission" in 2003.
Since that time, she has made very few public appearances and has not released any music. If anyone is aware of Amanda's current activities or future plans, please let us know at ultimateamanda@gmail.com.
