NEW AMANDA COVERS BY DEAN MCTAGGART
After co-writing several tracks for Amanda's self-titled debut album, singer-songwriter Dean McTaggart has released his own versions of 'Birmingham', 'Dark Horse' and 'Last Exit To Eden'. Both 'Birmingham' and 'Last Exit To Eden' can be found on his album 'Full Moon Howl', available at Amazon as MP3s or on CD. 'Dark Horse' can be found on the album 'Shed My Skin', also available on Amazon as MP3s or on CD. More information about Dean's work can be found on his website.

'AMANDA MARSHALL' ALBUM SURVIVOR

AMANDA SONGS ON CANADIAN IDOL
While Amanda Marshall may currently be absent from the spotlight, the contestants on Season 6 of Canadian Idol have clearly not forgotten the power of her songs. During the Top 24 (Group 2) week broadcast on June 24th, contestant Sebastien Pigott performed 'Dark Horse'. The following week, Marie-Pierre Bellerose performed 'Beautiful Goodbye' during the Top 20 week (Group 1) broadcast on June 30th. Check out YouTube clips of both performances below:

NEW BRITISH COLUMBIA TOUR DATES
Apologies for the late notice, but Amanda will be playing two shows in BC this month. The first is at the Red Robinson Show Theatre in Coquitlam, BC on Friday, January 18th, 2008 at 8:00 PM. This show is 19+ and ID is required. Tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster by following this link, and they are priced at $59.50 and $69.50. The second date is at the River Rock Show Theatre in Richmond, BC on Saturday, January 19th at 8:00 PM.Once again, this show is 19+ and ID is required. CASINO RAMA SET LIST AND REVIEWS

Amanda chatted extensively to the audience during the show, but unfortunately did not mention any upcoming album or full tour. She did however mention that she's not on MySpace or Facebook and enjoys staying out of the public eye (no wonder she's dissapeared completely over the past several years!). We certainly hope this will be the beginning of a new phase in Amanda's career.
