Here's a very interesting new project for joysticks, it's a 2 & 4 axis control switch box, which
allows switching from a normal 2 axis 4 button race controller to a more elaborate unit with
a clutch, separate pedals (gas & brake) and wheel. The reason why I've done this is some
games allow 3 or 4 axis, ex: GP2, F1RS, MGPRS2, NFS2, NFS3 and of course GPL, and
unfortunately others don't work at all (Castrol Honda Superbike, MotoRacer2, TOCA, etc..)

• You'll find all you need to help to construct this project that will let
  you switch from 2 to 4 AXIS on your game controller

• Tools needed:

• A ohmmeter (or most common is a multi meter)
  not compulsory, but very handy to either troubleshoot
  or identify wires connected to the game port connector

• soldering gun or pencil (I prefer the butane type)

• electronic solder (with resin core)

• sufficient wires and cables (multi-strand highly preferred)

• A drill with different drill bit size (for drilling plastic and/or metal)

• Screw driver(s)
