The next 3 photos show a super perfumed ironing wax pad with fire-proof iron rest. It indicates on the package that it : perfumes clothes with long-lasting flowery violet fragrance.

The directions for use on the package say: Open ad and lay flat, then slide iron over covered wax pad and iron as usual. The hot iron will pick up just enough of the perfumed wax to make your iron glide easily and smoothly over the surface and delightfully perfuming the clothes. Keep hot iron on Fire-proof iron rest when not in use.

It was made in U.S.A. and sold for 35cents.s

This is a box of Chinese starch. It has never been open and is in excellent condition. It was use for polishing clothes such as shirts, collars, cuffs, blouses, aprons, etc. etc. It was made in Canada and won a medal at : La compagnie d'exposition de québec en 1901.
