or non-member, you have the best occasion to discover one of the sports
the most ignored by the majority of peoples that is clay target shooting.
Clay shooting is appreciated by the majority of hunters who want to improve
their numbers of catches before the opening season of ducks hunting and
small games. It is also the best moment for parents to show to their kids how to handle the
good way and with security a firearm . You can only have
fun to discover and practice clay target shooting. It is a hobby
appreciated by most people and it gives you the opportunity to make a lot of new friends.
The Valleyfield Shooting Club priority is the security. The Club gives you
the possibility to participate to registered targets competitions and Fun
Shoots open to all shooters who are interested .
Skeet is the shooting sport the most popular at the Club. Recently the
club bought a set of Super Star machines who can hold many targets. This
year, the Valleyfield Shooting Club will host the Quebec
Provincial Skeet Championships (NSSA).
Trap is the shooting sport the most popular in America. The Club owns old
machines that require a person to launch the targets. Recently, the club
has bought a Pat-Trap (double) automatic machine. This year, the
Valleyfield Shooting Club will host Regionnal's Shoots (ATA).
Five
Stand is very similar to Sporting Clays. No two five-stands are exactly
the same. The're is five stations to shoot from.
They are between 6 to 8 traps that throw targets.
Participants shoot in order at each of the 5
stands and various combinations of targets are thrown. Usually there is a menu that will advise the shooter
of the sequence of targets. Five Stand is a great way to get a
Sporting Clays like experience in a small amount of space, with
very little walking.
