Playlist of the evening

This year, the Holiday Season will start on the 15th of december with the last Deja V-U of the year. And to finish off this year in beauty we will, once again, officially release two albums!!!
First off, we will launch the latest opus from The Deep Eynde, Suicide Drive, gothic atmosphere galore from this Los Angeles band.
“An open-minded influence of Postpunk and Psychobilly brings a variety of sounds into the straight arrangements of the songs. Also the catchy track ‘Dead Alive’ opens the CD and the video is present in the multimedia session. That song has already turned into a club hit on several parties here. A further highlight is definitely the track ‘Alone Again’ which was recorded together with GITANE DEMONE, a fine tribute to the ‘old’ Christian Death songs! File under Gothic.”
A second,
special drawing will occur : a compilation of darkwave
ethereal music from the folks at Projekt Records.
PROJEKT: Gothic includes more than 14
titles from such artists as Voltaire, This
Ascension, Black Tape For A Blue Girl, Mors
Syphilistica and Unto Ashes.
“If one were to attempt to take the entire essence of Projekt’s artists and try to condense it into one simple disc, you would have Projekt: Gothic, a brilliantly constructed CD showcasing the prime artists on this darkwave and ethereal label. Admittedly, I tend to avoid compilation CDs unless there is some sort of collector’s value in it for me, because more often than not, you find a disc littered with trash tracks and maybe two good songs in the mix. But, Projekt has done quite well with this release. The staff took their time to pick the best tracks from the best artists on the label, creating a good sampling of the classic Projekt sound.”
