Favorite colors: Black, white, red and orange Dislike colors: chika chika colors Hitomi joined HP and Morning Musume in the 2000 summer just before the release of Happy Summer wedding (5/17/2000) in the what we call the fourth generation of Morning Musume which consist of Yoshizawa Hitomi, Ishikwa Rika, Tsuji Nozomi and Kago Ai after her good performances in the auditions. To be frank, Hitomi wasn’t very noticed in the group since everyone was excited about Aibon (Kago Ai) and Nono (Tsuji Nozomi) being in the new subgroup Mini Moni. Hitomi audition Hitomi strongest point at the audition was probably her deep voice which could feel a missing spot in Morning Musume. Her boyish and tomboy character forged her a very interesting personnality. Her truly big role in Morning Musume was in Mr. Moonlight where she held the center position with Nacci and Maki. Her performance was excellent in a man role thanks to her voice and she was in the same time rapidly getting popular due to her strange but funny personnality. After Ichii Sayaka left Petit Moni, Hitomi has been selected to replace her in the Morning Musume spin-off. From a fan view point, I think her Petit Moni performances are usually better than in Morning Musume due to the limited number of members in Petit Moni (3) and due to the overall character of genkiness of Petit Moni which perfectly fit her personnality. Presently, she’s one of the most active member on talk shows on japanese TV and with the restructuration of Petit Moni, she would probably act as the leader of this group. On a side note, she’s the tallest member behind Kaori and she used to have the most sportive girl type of the group.
