Michèle Morin, a designer and first hand producer of her own line of original leather garments for the past 15 years, now proudly introduces the YStrap, a unique product designed and perfected with the help of guitar and bass players in response to their specific needs.

Bass and guitar players commonly suffer from back pain and shoulder injuries. This well-known problem (see Les musiciens paient la note) is attributed to the constant bearing of the instrument on a single shoulder, on the fingerboard side.
That is exactly where the exclusive design of the YStrap really shines: the YStrap distributes the instrument's weight over both shoulders. The second strap, which forms that innovative Y, brings the guitar in line with the middle of the body and stabilizes it, so the guitar's neck no longer tends to fall. This allows players to stand more comfortably, without having to constantly balance the weight of their instrument.
The YStrap is a professional, ergonomic working tool that improves the artist's performance while relieving and preventing the most common pain and injuries experienced by guitar and bass players. Starting-out musicians can avoid these problems altogether by using the YStrap right at the very beginning of their career.
Thanks to its flexible design the YStrap fits all types of guitars and bass guitars*. All YStrap models are also available for right or left-handed players, in 3 ergonomic sizes, fully accommodating the way you normally carry the instrument (high, low or centered).
The YStrap is a prestige product made out of the highest quality soft leathers. The YStrap is currently available in two standard models (Comfort, Professional) in a variety of colors and leather finishes, but custom straps made out of special leathers, decorated with custom artwork are also available on request (Personalized model). The YStrap is quality-certified with the designer's 22 carat gold signature.
Designed to be a healthy, robust, highly effective part of the musician's tool set, the YStrap also comes to be an attractive addition to the professional performing wardrobe. Talk about efficient good looks!

* The strap pin right behind the guitar's heel on some popular guitars (where the neck meets the body) is the ideal location for fitting your new strap
